The non-sterile GEM-Care cleanroom underlay was specifically developed for use in critical laboratory environments, such as those processing cytotoxic drugs or other hazardous biological substances. It is ideal for safety cabinets, RABS environments, and glove box systems, ensuring a safe, clean, and reliable work surface in the cleanroom.

The three-layer structure of the pad combines effective protection with high functionality:

• The upper layer consists of perforated PE film, which allows for even liquid distribution.

• The middle layer Made from highly absorbent, latex-free airlaid material, it efficiently absorbs liquids and prevents them from spreading.

• The lower layer is an impermeable, anti-slip PE film that ensures a firm hold and prevents liquids from seeping through.

Thanks to its flat, unfolded delivery, the mat adapts perfectly to the work surface. It stays in place – even during intensive activities – and thus ensures the stable positioning of delicate laboratory equipment such as vials or ampoules. Its particle-free nature reduces the risk of cross-contamination and makes it the ideal solution for demanding cleanroom applications.
