Overview
The Texwipe TX714A Alpha Swab is a polyester swab for cleaning large surfaces and flat areas. It is widely recommended for surface sampling and cleaning validation work as its purity level provides a neutral background for the sample obtained. An ideal choice for controlled cleaning and sampling of large areas.
Cleanroom washed, knitted Alpha polyester head is extremely clean. The 100% continuous fiber polyester substrate is heat pressed onto the stem (therm bonded), sealing the exposed edges to reduce fiber release and eliminate the use of adhesives. Polyester is soft and non-abrasive, making the Swab suitable for sensitive surfaces.
The long, rigid handle and large inner head paddle ensure a firm grip. Very low non-volatile residues and low particle and fiber formation. Can be sterilized in an autoclave.
